From a New York Newspaper:: January 11, 1954 - One traffic accident was
recorded... that of Fred Leeber, 35, Brooklyn carpenter who was killed last night when he
apparaently became blinded by the snowflakes and rammed his car into a parked utility
truck on the Belt Parkway, South Ozone Park. He is survived by his wife, Mamie Leeber,
four children, Frederick, Anthony, James and daughter Kathleen. Burial took place January
16, 1954 in Calvary Cemetery, Long Island, following a Mass at Our Lady of Loretta.
