230. James Victor Leeber was born on 7 Nov 1949 at 9:47 PM EST in Brooklyn, New York. Baptized at Our Lady of Loretta Catholic Church in Brooklyn, New York. James' godmother was Sarah Cagnina. Since Sarah was pregnant for her son, James Cagnina, at the time, Ann Cagnina Lautato was godmother by proxy. Confirmed at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Beckley, WV - confirmation sponsor was his brother, Fred Leeber.. James attended kindergarten and first grade at Our Lady of Loretta Catholic School in Brooklyn, New York. He came to live with his father's sister, Elizabeth Leeber Little, in Beckley, West Virginia September 1956 and began second grade at Cranberry Grade School, Cranberry, WV. He continued his education at Beckley Jr. High School and Woodrow Wilson High School, graduating June 6, 1967 after attending one short year (10th grade) at Bentwood High School, Brentwood, New York. He received his AA degree in liberal arts from Beckley College (now called the College of WV), Beckley, WV May 23, 1969, receiving recognition in Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. He graduated with honors from West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV May 16, 1971 with a BA in English Literature and again May 19, 1974 with a MA in English Literature and secondary education. James taught grades 9-12 at East Fairmont High School, Fairmont, WV from 1971-1973. From 1973-1985 he taught 8th grade English at Park Jr. High School in Beckley, WV while teaching advanced grammar night classes for the University of Charleston, Charleston, WV. Tony Daniel McKinney was born 27 May 1966 in Mullens, West Virginia. He attended grade school at Fireco Elementary in Fireco, WV and Sylvia Elementary in Beckley, WV. His high school years were spent at Stratton Jr. High School and Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, WV. Tony graduated from the Beckley School of Cosmetology in February 1988. He began working at the Four Seasons Hair Design in the Crossroads Mall in Beckley, WV upon graduation from beauty school. In April 1989 he left Four Seasons and began working at the Dazzling Trio Beauty Salon. In September 1990 he left Dazzling Trio and began working at the Fit and Trim Shop in Beckley until July 1992 when he opened his own shop, Tony's Beauty Salon , which he still operates today. Tony is James Victor Leeber's lifetime companion. James and Tony met on January 3, 1986 and moved in together January 7, 1986. Email TDMcKinney@aol.com
