Angela is a charismatic 25 year-old who has been performing her original music in Florida venues since the spring of 1996 both as a solo act and accompanied by full bands. She is already being compared by musical columnists to Carly Simon and Natalie Merchant; two female artists who have wide ranging listening markets. Her passion for music began early in life when she began to learn classical violin at the age of 12. In college, while studying Zoology, she taught herself to play guitar and piano. Then, in 1994, combining her natural ability to write lyrics and over a decade of musical training, she began composing songs for voice and guitar, and later incorporated violin, piano, and a rhythm section into the arrangements.
