He was married to Ida Maria Leopardi, daughter of Giuseppe Leopardi and Vincenza Falcone, on 14 Oct 1937 in Sulmona, Italy. Ida Maria Leopardi was born on 14 Apr 1915. Immigrated to the US on November 6, 1960. Ida had a 2nd grade education, was a farmer, a sewing machine operator, and an assembly line worker at Smith Corona in Cortland, New York She died on 30 Jan 1993. Raffaele Leopardi and Ida Maria Leopardi had the following children:
