It is either 2 Jul 1892 or 2 Jul 1893. Much of the information on Ralph came from an interview with Helen M. DePollo in 1989 The last name Wenk may have been spelled Wenck. It is believed to be a Germanic name. Ralph came to the United States on the ship Legurie from Intradaqua, Italy. The ship embarked from Naples, Italy. Ralph was a third cabin passenger. Ralph traveled with his mother, brother Antonie (Anthony Richard DePollo) and his sister Filomane (Filomena DePollo Ferruso). They emigrated via Ellis Island on November 20th, 1903. He died on 21 Nov 1978. The description of Ralph on the citizenship application made October 15, 1940 reads: Age; 46, sex; male, color; white, complexion; fair, color of eyes; brown color of hair; chestnut, height; 5 feet 6 inches, weight; 215 pounds, visible distinctive marks; scar on right leg and left arm.
He was married to Mary Mae Wenck (daughter of William Wenk and Mary Magdalene Semmler) on 9 Feb 1914 in Frostburg, Maryland USA. Mary Mae Wenck was born on 2 Jul 1892 in Frostburg, Maryland USA.
